About Us:
Our Business Ethos:
The cornerstone of our business ethos is not participating in exploitative or slavery-based economies. We operate a small print shop which we are continually expanding with new capabilities as we strive to make every product we carry. Our stock is visible on each product page. You can backorder things that are out of stock and choose to ship it all together when we restock. No FOMO on limited-time offers or runs of limited stock, if we run out then we will make more, providing there are no supply shortages. Prices are whole dollar values in CAD because we don’t like playing mind games with our customers. If something costs 15 bucks, it costs 15 bucks, currency conversion notwithstanding.
Hans “ForestFelkin”

Ever since I could hold a pencil I’ve been drawing critters of all shapes and sizes, but dragons and their kin are my favourite!
My background and interests outside of art are about as varied as the many characters I’ve drawn. I’m a sucker for ancient history, paleontology, anthropology, and scientific history. The past is incredibly cool and we have so much to learn from it! If you’re ever to meet me in person I could probably talk your ears off about any of my innumerable interests if questioned, though I’m most likely to be found enjoying a quiet space and drawing.
Jasper “ACertainOtter”

I’m no artist, but consider myself generally competent and enjoy building spaces where people can thrive. I built the web server for this site out of components that would have otherwise become e-waste and have set up the workspace and tooling for our print shop.
Industrial Refurlution is our first official business and the proving ground for the skills I’m developing as I prepare to launch my aerospace company. My background is soft structures aerospace R&D, including the Venus balloon program, tires for a Europa rover, and inflatable atmospheric decelerators for Mars probes but my passion is for fixing problems here on Earth which are better serviced by developing open-source systems for materially improving peoples’ lives and independence from abusive power structures. I live by the principles of Consent, Respect, Autonomy, and the Golden rule. I’ll keep y’all posted when I’m taking that project live.
ABOUT OUR LOGO
Our logo is colourful, and admittedly a bit busy, but it was designed with the help of one of our friends that has since passed on. It stands as a memory of her, her vibrant artistic mind, as one of the last things she created before finding out too late that she had no time left. Miss you, Liz. (1994-2024)
