Basic Info

This is a business operated by two people with disabilities. If there are ever any delays we will make a post about it in the store’s blog, which will be re-posted to our social media accounts.

If there is an item you want but it sells out before you get a chance to purchase it, don’t worry. For most products, this will only mean a temporary delay in shipping due to our in-house production capabilities!

Shop Policies

  • Please read item descriptions carefully before buying. We do our very best to ensure that descriptions are accurate representations of the size and quality of each item.
  • Please contact us before opening a dispute with paypal or your credit card provider if there are any issues with your order. We are most happy to help! Dispute abusers are asked to take their business elsewhere, as opening a paypal dispute means we are without that amount for a minimum of 30 days, immediately. It’s not fun, and we legitimately want to make sure you’re happy with your order!
  • We can only accept payments through the store using the options available (ex. no money orders, cheques or mailed payments) This store only operates via online purchases, and as of this time there is no studio that is open to the public. We are able to do local pickups at events we are attending, but payments must be received online for in-person pickup.
  • We are not responsible for lost, tampered with, or stolen packages! We are unable to provide refunds or replacements for missing packages. If the tracking says it was delivered, there is nothing we can do for you on our end, but hope is not lost! You can go to your local post office or check with your mail carrier if you haven’t received an item and tracking shows it has been mailed or delivered. The buyer pays shipping expense to have the item re-sent.
  • Please do not ask for your item to be shipped to a different address than what was provided with your order. For convenience and to protect us and you, the buyer, the package must be sent to whatever shipping address is provided with your order.
  • Please use consistent names for ordering through the shop and for payment/shipping address(es). Keeping track of aliases, character names or studio names that are different from what was used to place your order slows down the shipping process.
  • Please order your items well ahead of any planned events you may need them for. We work very hard to get orders out in a timely manner, but sometimes our schedule gets quite full. As much as we would like to, we cannot do rush orders for everyone.
  • Returns are accepted on a case-by-case basis. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Returned goods must be in a new and unused condition. Refund or partial refund will be issued upon receipt of returned goods.
  • Please remember there are people on the other side of the screen! We’re in this together, and if there are any issues with your order we will do our best to help you!

Ordering

1) Once an order is placed , you will receive a confirmation email with your order number. Please check the email used to place the order. ****CONFIRM BEFORE GOING LIVE****

2) Once an order has been shipped you will receive a confirmation email with the tracking number unless it is being shipped “Canada Post Lettermail” un-tracked.

  • Check your spam filters if you ordered but never got an email receipt from our store’s email! Please check the email you used to place the order. 
  • Please make sure all shipping information is correct.We cannot be held responsible for shipping to an incorrect address that is provided by the buyer nor can we be held responsible for lost, stolen or damaged parcels.
  • If your order is refusing to process, please make sure your billing address matches your credit card/account address.(restarting your browser and trying again is the most common fix for this issue)
  • We do not take cheques or any mailed forms of payment.

Shipping

  • We ship to as many countries as possible via Canada Post!
  • Unfortunately we are currently unable to ship to the US due to the current fluctuating tariffs, but we are in talks with an artist collective that will act as your local supplier! Keep your eyes peeled for updates on this!
  • You can calculate the cost of shipping by adding what you want to your cart and starting the check out process.
  • International customers may have to pay a customs fee when they receive their package. We only ship with tracking internationally.
  • Items usually ship once a week on Wednesdays. As much as we wish to have a shipping room full of otters, there is but one with only so much time in the day! If we’re going to miss one of the usual shipping days, we will make a blog/social media post about it ahead of time.
  • Orders are shipped via Canada Post. Our packaging for larger orders may be ugly because we try re-use boxes and packing materials as much as possible! We try to save money and keep packaging out of landfills, instead of making pretty yet wasteful custom packaging.
  • We cannot be held responsible for errors on the part of Canada Post.  Claims for missing or undelivered packages have to be made directly to your local post office on the rare occasion that this happens.
  • Your tracking will show when the parcel arrived at, left the sorting facility and the date of delivery. This allows us to prove when a parcel was mailed on our end in the case of missing or stolen mail. Again, we do not bear responsibility for missing mail as our responsibility ends once the order is accepted by the post office. By purchasing from Industrial Refurlution, the buyer acknowledges and accepts this policy.

International Shipping

  • We ship via Canada Post and provide a tracking number for international orders. The tracking will indicate when the item was mailed but it may not provide detailed, step by step tracking when it reaches other countries.
  • Shipping can be quite expensive, especially with large orders. At checkout if your order meets a certain threshold, you will be asked to contact us, and we will do our best to help you get the best shipping rate that we are able to provide you.
  • If you would like insurance on an order, please contact the shop after ordering (with your order number) so this can be arranged and paid for.
  • It can take some time for international items to arrive depending on where you live, often due to packages getting stuck in customs.
